Cosecha at Ocean Park Inn

We are honored to be partnering with long-time San Diegan Chef Steve Brown to host a pop-up dinner as a part of his Cosecha multicourse dinner series, right outside Ocean Park Inn on the Pacific Beach boardwalk.

The term cosecha means “harvest” in Spanish, and was named after Brown’s practice of hand picking fresh ingredients for his dishes. The pop-up dining experience idea was born from his interest in fine dining mixed with his passion for fresh ingredients.

Beyond the weekly pop-up dinners, Chef Brown has started multiple concepts involving the essence of cosecha – harvesting and cooking with fresh and local ingredients. In the past year, Chef Brown has opened a restaurant in Chula Vista, a catering company, a bar in Barrio Logan and co-developed an internship program for young chefs. There have been a number of inspiring stories of Brown’s path to achieving his success through following his passion in the SD Union Tribune, Eater San Diego, and Eagle & Times.

Chef Brown’s passion for culinary arts can be seen and tasted in every dish he serves, and is now available to our family, friends and guests at Ocean Park Inn.
