Is parking available at Ocean Park Inn? What are the fees?
Your room account will be charged a daily parking fee of $35 for underground (vehicle clearance of 8’2”), on-site self parking. Additionally, street parking is an option in the surrounding neighborhoods and there are several paid lots nearby.
Does Ocean Park Inn have rooms or suites with kitchens?
Yes, we have four suites that include a kitchenette. Each suite has 2 rooms – a bedroom with either 1 king or 2 queen beds plus a living room with a sofa sleeper. The kitchenette includes refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and dishes along with a bar seating area. Click here for a full list of our different room types.
How far are you from the airport?
We are a little over 20 minutes away from the airport!
Is there a shuttle service for guests?
We do not have a shuttle service but can arrange transportation via taxi upon request. We also encourage Uber/Lyft as they are very common in San Diego.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed within the hotel premises. While Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are used as therapy animals as part of a medical treatment plan, they are not considered service animals under the ADA and remain subject to the pet policy.
How close is the beach?
Our oceanfront hotel is located just steps from Pacific Beach with nothing but the boardwalk between our doors and the sand.
Is breakfast included in the room price?
Yes, a complimentary hot breakfast is served daily from 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM in the lobby. Includes waffle making station, eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt, toast and much more. View all our Ocean Park Inn hotel amenities here.
Is there a pool at Ocean Park Inn?

Is there Wi-Fi and what does it cost?
There is free Wi-Fi while on property. The login information is provided at check-in.
Does the staff speak Spanish?
Yes, we have someone on staff at all times that speaks Spanish.
What is the check-in time at Ocean Park Inn San Diego?
Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Early check-in is available based on availability after 1:00 PM; however, if your room is not ready, we’re happy to hold your luggage while you enjoy the pool or beach. You can also take advantage of our PB Passport deals with neighborhood restaurants.
What time is check-out at Ocean Park Inn San Diego?
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-out is available based on availability until 12:00 PM. If your departure is later than that, we’re happy to hold your luggage while you enjoy the pool or beach. You can also take advantage of our PB Passport deals with neighborhood restaurants.
What beach is Ocean Park Inn located on?
Ocean Park Inn is located in the heart of Pacific Beach just steps from the sand and lifeguard tower on Grand Avenue.
Is there a restaurant at Ocean Park Inn?
No, we do not have a restaurant but have curated deals with neighborhood restaurants that we pass along to our Ocean Park Inn guests. Look for your PB Passport card in your key packet at check-in to unlock the partner offers and discounts.
Do you have room service?
No, we do not have room service but do have complimentary breakfast from 6:30 AM-10:00 AM daily plus a beverage station with water, juice, tea and coffee available all day. We also have a “Sip Stop” at the front desk with adult beverages for purchase and vending machines throughout the property.
Can I plan my wedding and events at Ocean Park Inn?
Yes! While our boutique hotel doesn’t offer large event space, we do allow buyouts of all 71 rooms which would enable the lobby and pool area to be private to your party. We are happy to recommend several event venues nearby as well as work with you on caterers and other event vendors.
Are there any meeting rooms at Ocean Park Inn?
No we do not have private meeting rooms however there is plenty of seating and outlets in the lobby area.
Can we smoke in the rooms or on property?
Ocean Park Inn is considered a non-smoking property. Patio & balcony smoking is prohibited. Please leave the property and surrounding areas to smoke. A smoking fee will be charged if a guest smokes in their room or on property.
What should I do if I lost or forgot something in my room?
