The annual Pride festival is coming to San Diego from July 17th – 19th, and will boast multiple stages of entertainment, more than 80 musicians, bands, comedy and dance performers, great food and much more. The ultimate goal of the festival is to celebrate pride and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities, locally, nationally and globally. This festival will include special performances and appearances from current dance, pop, hip-hop, Latin and other stars including Emma Hewitt, Late Night Alumni, Mary Lambert, Taryn Manning, and dozens more all hosted by Carmen Electra. This two day event starts Friday evening with The Pride of Hillcrest Block Party, and continues the following day with the Pride Parade in Balboa Park. Music Festival: San Diego’s Pride Parade music festival will host about 40,000 people from across the nation, and will feature music, food trucks, five stages, 200 exhibitor booths, craft beer and more.   2. Parade: The Pride Parade spans 1.1 miles from 11am-2pm on July 18th, 2015, and is open for the public to enjoy. The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Ave. and ends at Laurel St. The parade will accommodate more than 200 floats and is viewed by a crowd of nearly 200,000 people each year.
