It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas… in Balboa Park that is!
Starting December 6th, San Diego’s Balboa Park will transform into a winter wonderland as the streets fill up with one-of-a-kind vendors, entertainment and 30,000 guests eager to enjoy this annual festival.
Coming into its 35th consecutive year, the December Nights festival will feature free admission from participating museums throughout the park. Activities range from the Annual holiday puppet tradition of “A Christmas Carol” at the Marie Hitchcock Puppet Theater, or to a few amazing excerpts of the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Or choose to take advantage of the Art Institute’s annual C-Note sale with original art works sold right off the walls for one $100, $200 or $300. You can even bring your family to the San Diego Zoo for an unbelievable aerial view of the city from the San Diego Zoo’s Skyfari!
Are you a beer lover? Stroll through the new BEERology exhibit at the San Diego Museum of Man, or enjoy the beer gardens and live entertainment at the Air & Space Museum.
