Easter is right around the corner, and we can’t wait to celebrate. This is a time to spend with family and friends, and we have a few ideas to help make your 2015 Easter extra lovely with a stay at Pacific Beach’s Ocean Park Inn.
Start your April 5th with a car ride from Ocean Park Inn to the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado. If you haven’t visited Coronado Island, it is a must see in San Diego! One of the most stunning parts of the island is the Hotel del Coronado. This 125-year-old hotel is recognized as a National Historic Landmark, and will make for a perfect backdrop to family photos this Easter.

You won’t go hungry on Coronado with the Del’s Easter Champagne Brunch Buffet. This is an ideal event for the whole family, as it features a special children’s buffet for the little tykes in the group! After getting your fill of delicious food, you won’t want to miss the quintessential Easter event: the good old-fashioned egg hunt! There are different times for different ages, so don’t worry, it will be a fair race. There are 3 egg hunts from 10:00 am to 10:40 am, then three more from noon to 12:40 p.m. We can’t wait for the Craft ‘Egg’stravaganza, located right by the buffet. This will be a fun project for kids and adults, and is the perfect way to spend quality time with the whole family.

Don’t want to venture far from your luxurious room at the Ocean Park Inn in Pacific Beach? Spend your Easter just a short walk down the boardwalk at Belmont Park, which will be hosting the Easter Bash. There will be 10,000 fun-filled eggs all throughout the park and sand, 25 of which are special Golden Eggs. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to find them! The hunt will be from 9 a.m. to noon. Register the kids beforehand here. Then after the hunt, enjoy lunch with the family at WaveHouse or Draft!
