San Diego’s annual convention for comic, movie and science fiction fans, Comic-Con International, will be held from July 24th to 27th, 2014 at the San Diego Convention Center in the heart of downtown. On Wednesday July 23rd, Ballast Point in Little Italy will host a 3DS Pokémon Tournament for Craft Beer Lovers from 6:00 to 10:30 p.m. Gather your Pokémon cards and hone your battling skills before you head over to Ballast Point.
Her Universe Geek Couture Fashion Show: Fashion Week is coming to Comic-Con International this year! Her Universe™, a groundbreaking sci-fi fashion apparel line, has announced that will be bringing the first-ever full-scale “Geek Couture” fashion show and design competition to this year’s event! The Her Universe Fashion Show will be held on Thursday, July 24 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel. Star Wars: The Old Republic Community Cantina Tour: Join the Star Wars Old Republic Community Team on Friday, July 25th, 2014 at the The Commons Bar from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. You will have the chance to ask the development team questions and get answers. In addition to complimentary drinks, food, and giveaways, every attendee will receive a M8-3R Astromech code! Space is limited for this event so make sure you arrive early.
8th Annual San Diego Convention Center Zombie walk and Zombie Prom: The Zombie Walk is for all-ages, free to participate in, and will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26th in downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter at the Children’s Park. After the walk, Horton Grand Hotel will host the 21+ “Zombie Prom” from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Make sure to dress in your zombie attire and enjoy music, food, a photo booth, a cash bar and much more.
