Thousands of locals and visitors alike will gather in our home of Pacific Beach on Saturday, October 4th,
to run in the 5k or volunteer for the street festival. Every race participant will be given a free tank top and two refreshing (and free!) beers after the 5k concludes. Pacific Beachfest is more than just a run, however, and will feature live music, local food and art vendors. Foodies will want to attend the PB Fish Taco competition, which is sure to be a tasty celebration of one of San Diego’s favorite foods. There will also be hosted professional volleyball and surf competitions. So whether you are participating in the run or just want to join the community for an unforgettable weekend, there will be plenty to do and see at Pacific Beachfest.
The proceeds from the race will go to San Diego’s own “Discover PB,” a non-profit organization that supports the Pacific Beach community by funding new designs and improvements throughout the area.
