Friday October 10, 2014:
Band Slam (Battle of the Bands): The preliminary Battle of the Band contest was held and the winners of the show have been chosen. Now it’s time to come enjoy live local music and help cheer on your favorite band as you watch them battle to victory. The semifinalists will play Friday night, and the judges’ scorecards along with audience votes will determine the winners. So come out and support your favorite performers!
Beer Garden (Blonde-a-thon): Join us Friday night for happy hour in the beer garden and don’t forget to participate in the “Blonde-a-thon”. Wear your best blonde wig or braid your real blonde hair to participate in the German-themed costume contest for free admission. The doormen will be checking for the best dressed and if you arrive during happy hour you will receive a free raffle ticket!

Saturday October 11, 2014:
Brat Trot: Ocean Beach’s 3rd annual Brat Trot Beach Run will take place on Saturday October 11th. There are two events to participate in: the 2K Family Fun Run and the 5K Beach Run! The 2014 OB Brat Trot Beach Run is sponsored by Ocean Beach Community Foundation and all proceeds will benefit local youth sports! The course starts and ends near the entrance of the OB Oktoberfest Beer Garden and runs along the beach from the OB Pier to the river channel and back.
